Data and AI for construction and industrial supply

Find the signal in your data, then the route.

Spyrian™ builds data, analytics, software, automation and AI products for distributors in construction and industrial supply. We work on the ERP and data you already have, deliver systems your team uses every day, and support them long after launch.

What we build

The work off-the-shelf tools don’t reach

Every distributor runs processes that packaged software handles badly or not at all. We build for those, on your ERP and your data. A few of the areas we work in:

Finance automation

Vendor invoices, statements and their exceptions. We read the documents, match them against purchase orders and receipts, apply your coding rules and prepare them for your ERP.

Pricing

Vendor price sheets, market and competitor pricing, and your own customer pricing, collected and compared in one place.

Product data

Descriptions, attributes and cross-references cleaned up and connected across plumbing, HVAC and electrical, for your PIM, your ERP and your online store.

ERP integration

Built around the system you already run, such as Epicor Eclipse or Prophet 21. What we build reads from your ERP and writes back to it.

In production

Examples of our work

Two examples of the kind of systems we build, both in use today at a billion-dollar plumbing, HVAC and electrical distributor.

Fleet invoice automation

Reads fleet vendor invoices, pulls out each line, applies the accounting codes and business rules, and prepares the result for the ERP, with people reviewing the exceptions.

Commission calculation engine

Calculates sales commissions from ERP sales data under the company’s commission rules, the same way every pay period.

How we work

One team from first conversation to production

  1. SurveyWe sit with your team, map the process end to end and look at the real data.
  2. DesignWe agree on what done looks like and the simplest system that gets there.
  3. BuildA usable first version early, then steady improvements from real use.
  4. SupportWe keep what we build running and improving, with ongoing support and licensing.

The system prepares, people approve

Software does the reading, matching and checking. Your team reviews the exceptions and makes the calls.

No handoffs

The people who learn your process are the people who write the code and support it afterwards.

About

A guide for the data you already have

Spyrian (SPEER-ee-an) comes from the Old English: to follow a track, to investigate. For as long as people have crossed hard country, they have stacked cairns to mark the way for the ones who come after. That is the job we take on with your data: find the route through it, and mark it clearly enough that your team can follow.

Spyrian grew out of Peak Insights Consulting, the data and AI consultancy Austin Jurgensmeyer founded in 2016. Spyrian Inc. was founded in 2026 and is based in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Austin Jurgensmeyer

Founder and CEO

Austin has spent his career turning complicated systems and messy data into decisions. He began at United Launch Alliance designing launch trajectories, later managed mission design on the Vulcan program, and modeled lunar missions for Blue Origin’s New Glenn. As interim vice president at Compassion International, he co-led an 80-person data team working across 27 countries.

Through Peak Insights he built AI, analytics and automation products for the distribution industry, and advised a multi-location pediatric therapy practice on software that has to work under HIPAA. He is a trustee of the Pikes Peak Library District and holds BS and MS degrees in mechanical engineering from Colorado State University.

In business and in life, Austin strives to leave things better than he found them. Away from work he is usually on a river, a rock face or a mountain bike trail.

Careers

We’re hiring

We’re looking for our first few teammates: problem solvers who can sit with a distributor’s team, understand how the work really gets done, and see how to make it better.

You would work side by side with customers and with the founder from the first day. It helps if:

  • You understand how the physical world works, from the warehouse floor to the job site.
  • You’re curious about how real work gets done, and you notice where it could be done better.
  • You’re comfortable with data and software, and you pick up new tools quickly.

Write to [email protected] with a few lines about yourself and a problem you’ve solved.
